The short version
- This page applies to the SammyFold Technology app on Google Play and our website, sammyfoldtech.com, run by SammyFold Technology.
- Email agyesam12@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
- We delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email.
1. How to request deletion
- Send an email to agyesam12@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request". You can also call or WhatsApp +233 54 426 4029.
- Include the name, email address and/or phone number you used with us, so we can find your data.
- Tell us what you'd like deleted — for example "all my data", or just a client review or newsletter subscription.
- We may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address or phone number, so nobody can delete your data without your permission.
You don't need an account to make a request. The public app and website don't let visitors create accounts; staff accounts are managed by SammyFold Technology.
2. What we delete
On request, we permanently delete the personal data you gave us through the app or website:
- Contact and project enquiries — your name, email address and message.
- Client reviews — your name, role, company, project, rating, review, phone number and email. Published reviews are removed from the website.
- Partner applications — your name, organisation, email, phone, website, location and message.
- Newsletter subscription — your email address.
Messages typed into the SammyFold AI chat assistant are not stored by us, so there is nothing to delete.
3. What we keep, and for how long
- Client contracts, invoices and payment records — if you have hired us, we must keep these for as long as tax and accounting laws in Ghana require (generally up to 6 years), even after a deletion request. We delete them once that period ends.
- Server and security logs — basic technical records (such as IP addresses) kept by our hosting provider are automatically deleted within 90 days.
- Backups — copies of deleted data may remain in routine backups for up to 30 days until they are overwritten.
4. How long it takes
We complete deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them and email you to confirm when it's done. If we have to keep any information for a legal reason, we'll tell you what and why.
